About Fiorella
Navarro

Educator, strategist and author exploring how identity and inherited narratives shape the way we live, lead and communicate.

Based in Vancouver, British Columbia — working globally with individuals, organizations and communities ready to understand the story underneath their story.

My Story

The journey
so far

I was born in Lima, Peru, in a family where stories were more than memories — they were how we made sense of life. My grandmother used stories to heal. My mother used stories to hold us together. I grew up understanding that words can build bridges where distance once existed.

That understanding shaped a multicultural journey across Peru, Spain, Italy, New York, and Vancouver. Over the years, I built a career in communication, branding, education, and strategic consulting — learning firsthand how identity shifts when people move between cultures, languages, and expectations.

I have worked across higher education and strategic communication, helping students, professionals, and organizations find clarity in how they think, speak, and lead.

But some of the most important questions were personal.

After the loss of my parents, I was drawn into a deeper inquiry about emotional inheritance: the beliefs, silences, patterns, and stories passed through generations without being named.

That inquiry became Healing Through the Mother — a book rooted in my mother's writings and our shared history.

Today, my work brings these worlds together: communication and identity, strategy and humanity, voice and belonging.

Everything I create begins with one question:

What have you inherited — and what do you want to carry forward?

Why This Work

Because the stories we carry
shape everything.

Most communication problems aren't communication problems. They're identity problems wearing a communication costume. When someone can't find their voice in a room, when a founder can't articulate their brand, when a leader goes silent under pressure — the issue usually isn't vocabulary or technique. It's the inherited script still running beneath the surface.

This work matters because most of us were never taught to examine those scripts. We were taught to perform, to adapt, to translate ourselves for rooms that weren't built for us. That takes an enormous amount of energy — and it produces a specific kind of exhaustion that looks like imposter syndrome, self-censorship or creative stagnation.

I do this work because I've lived it. And because I've seen, again and again, what happens when someone finds the language for what they actually know. It doesn't just change how they communicate. It changes how they live.
