About Fiorella

Educator, strategist and author exploring how identity and inherited narratives shape the way we live, lead and communicate.
Based in Vancouver, British Columbia — working globally with individuals, organizations and communities ready to understand the story underneath their story.
My Story
The journey
so far
I was born in Lima, Peru, and raised by women whose strength shaped my earliest understanding of identity, resilience, and love. From them, I learned that what we inherit is not only material — it is emotional, relational, and often unspoken. Long before I worked in communication, I was already learning how stories shape people.
That understanding led me through a multicultural journey across Peru, Spain, Italy, New York, and Vancouver. Across each place, I experienced how identity shifts when people move between languages, cultures, and expectations — and how belonging is often something we must build for ourselves.
Over the past 18+ years, I have built a career across higher education, marketing, branding, and strategic communication. I have worked with students, professionals, founders, and organizations seeking greater clarity in how they think, communicate, lead, and present themselves in the world.
But some of the most important questions in my life were personal.
After the loss of my parents, I was drawn into a deeper inquiry around emotional inheritance: the beliefs, silences, survival patterns, and unseen narratives passed through generations. It became clear to me that many people are carrying stories they never consciously chose.
That inquiry became Healing Through the Mother — a book rooted in my mother's writings, our shared history, and the search to understand what is passed from one generation to the next.
Today, my work brings these worlds together: identity and communication, strategy and humanity, voice and belonging. Through speaking, teaching, consulting, and writing, I help people communicate from a place that is both clear and true.
Everything I create begins with one question:
What have you inherited — and what do you want to carry forward?

Why This Work
Because the stories we carry
shape everything.
Most communication problems are not communication problems. They are identity problems wearing a communication costume. When someone loses their voice in a room, when a founder cannot articulate value, when a leader goes silent under pressure — the issue is rarely vocabulary. It is often an inherited script still running beneath the surface.
Many of us were taught to adapt, perform, or translate ourselves for spaces that were never designed with us in mind. That creates exhaustion, self-censorship, and disconnection.
I do this work because I have lived it — and because I have seen what happens when people finally find language for what they already know. It does not only change how they communicate. It changes how they lead, belong, and live.
